TS 16949 Certified

In 1946, Logghe Stamping Company was started by manufacturing hinge brackets in the Roseville, Michigan garage of founder Morris Logghe. Additional customers and business fueled the need for more space and equipment, resulting in the construction in nearby Fraser, Michigan of what now is part of Manufacturing Plant #1 in 1962.

Joining their father’s business in the 1950’s, brothers Gene and Ron Logghe’s passion for cars and drag racing was one of the driving forces of the business. In the late 1960’s, Logghe Stamping Company became ‘America’s 5th largest automotive manufacturer’ supplying funny cars and dragsters to the racing community. The design of the flip top funny car among numerous other accomplishments has landed Gene and Ron in the motor sports hall of fame. Although Logghe Stamping Company no longer supplies dragsters, the knowledge and expertise acquired during their manufacture can still be found in the stampings, assemblies and value added processes performed today.

Business growth in the 1990’s drove the need for additional equipment and manufacturing space. Increasing customer quality requirements drove expansion into secondary operations such as welding and tapping. Both of these challenges were met by Logghe Stamping Company’s third generation, John and Dan.

Having long outgrown Morris’ garage, Logghe Stamping Company continues to conduct business at its four building Fraser, Michigan complex with a satellite facility in Roseville, Michigan. Certification to TS 16949 — and quality assurance testing equipment including CMM — ensures that Logghe Stamping Company’s stamping, welding, tapping, assembly, secondary and packaging processes will meet customer’s requirements. Logghe Stamping Company’s tooling and production expertise, which assisted in the development of customer deep drawn structural extrusion performance standards, allows for the successful manufacture of difficult stampings. The employees, management and owners of Logghe Stamping Company look forward to the opportunity to satisfy your stamping, welding and secondary operation needs.
